ELFLAND BORDER CONTROL (1970-PRESENT)
ELFLAND BORDER CONTROL (1970-PRESENT)
Description: When the border dividing the two nations was built, both Governments realized it would need to be defended, as well as it needed crossings. But because of that, it needed guards to operate and defend the border crossings and ensure safety and well-being to the border's hull. Therefore, a week before the border was fully built and opened, they established the Elfland Border Control. A force dedicated to defending and operating the giant border wall and its crossings.
Overall power: They may be below the ENG, but they go through the same exact training as them, and still serve a very useful purpose. Their power dictates whether you get to see your loved ones on the other side or not. No, really. Whether they let you through is up to the INDIVIDUAL guards. Passing is not guaranteed.
Overall coverage: Guards are stationed in outposts along the entire border, and every crossing through it. Ensuring "safety" and "well-being"
Gear and weaponry: Equipped with the same weaponry the national guard gets. Although, they don't get full armour, as they are trained to be expendable and not expected to survive for a long time. The border is a dangerous place, and they're in the [Litteral] center of it EVERY DAY. They have access to one vehicle, the SATSUMA 100A, which was granted from Satsuma motorsports in a "Military/Police" package. This is the only occurrence of a Military or Police trim 100A, and the package includes stiffer suspension, A/T tires, a V8 motor, 5spd manual, the works. And of course, outfitted with EBC branding. (White body panels, RED GT hood and trunk, EBC logos on doors, ETC.
