ELFLAND NATIONAL GUARD TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT (1971-PRESENT)
ELFLAND NATIONAL GUARD TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT (1971-PRESENT)
Description: Established 1 year after the peace, these officers are lower ranked than normal ENG officers, usually civilians that went through a basic obstacle course and gun training. Their main goal is to enforce traffic laws and ensure "safe" roads. (very poorly)
Overall power: Like mosquitos, they're very annoying. They don't protect as much as they just try to reach their quota at the end of the month. Overall, not the most powerful, but CAN get you behind bars if they want. Or dead. They DO have guns, you know.
Overall coverage: These officers are mostly located on highways and in dense cities, and even then, they're stretched VERY thin.
Gear and weaponry: These officers are equipped with a standard revolver, baton, cuffs, and... Not much else. They COULD cite you, but they need their own paper for that. They use the same vehicles the normal ENG officers use, only difference is that they're outfitted with a siren, and a caution-tape style pattern on the trunk for "safety" They also do not have lights, only sirens to save on costs.
